Our techs have broad experience with website migration and can handle anything – from a standard WordPress–based weblog or Joomla™ CMS–based website, to a very complex, custom–made application.

Q: How much time will it take for my web site to be migrated to your platform?
A: There are lots of variables to consider – the overall number of files, the size of the database, the complexity of the website itself and the present workload of our web site migration professionals, etc. Having said that, we do our best to carry out all web site migrations in a 48–hour time period. Smaller–sized sites are transferred much faster – usually in under 24 hours.

A: We don’t gather any sensitive details. We’ll require, however, the login information for your current web hosting account as well as the name of the web site that you’d like to migrate.

Q: The login details for my hosting account are sensitive. How can I trust you?
A: In order for us to start the migration of your web hosting account, you must first open an account with us. Opening an account with us requires that you to share precisely the same details you have provided to your previous web hosting provider. We’ve also got an extremely strict Privacy Policy, which describes how personal info is tackled.

Q: Will my web site be unavailable during the migration?
A: While we migrate your web site, it will be available both in your web hosting account with us and in your account with your previous web hosting provider. Once the transfer is done, we’ll ensure that everything is working properly and that the integrity of your content is not affected before notifying you that the transfer is completed. Then we’ll instruct you how to move the domain over to your web hosting account with us and how to edit your DNS records.

Q: Will my current web hosting provider learn that I’m leaving them?
A: Nope. We will never touch base with your hosting provider about anything. They will not be aware of the web site transfer either.

Q: Which hosting platforms do you support?
A: Yes. We support all common Linux–based hosting platforms. We do not support Windows–driven web hosting platforms, because we do not provide Windows web hosting services ourselves.Additionally, we don’t support proprietary website building and management user interfaces like Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square, Mr Site, etc.
